B-MOTIONS closed out the championships with a secure approach at the end, protecting their huge lead after day 3. They simply would not allow any opponent to pick up points. It was a clinical exhibition of how to put up solid numbers without exposing the team to undue risk. Throughout the tournament, B-Motions did not finish lower than 3rd place in 14 out of 18 events. That is consistency in a sport where a sudden wind shift can cost a team the entire tournament. The winner takes home the WBC Team Cup again, for the 6th time!
SKANDAL suffered 2 injuries in day 4 which kept them from closing the gap after an incredible run on day 3. RAD REVOLUTION took advantage of the opening to place 2nd overall, with SKANDAL dropping to third. For a video of the final 30 meter relay between B-MOTIONS and RAD REVOLUTION CLICK HERE.

The man with the greatest resume in the sport achieved his highest score ever in the 2008 World Boomerang Championships. Finishing the individual competition with 2 firsts, 1 second and 1 third out of 6 events, Fridolin Frost set a new standard of excellence in the sport of boomerangs.
The sport is maturing with a greater number of athletes spending time in conventional sports training. Frido has helped Germany dominate the sport for almost 16 years now. Highlights of the competition included a perfect score in “Trick Catch”, including 5 trick catch “doubling events”, involving throwing and doing trick catches for 2 boomerangs with one throw. With Fridolin Frost resting beside his World Team and Individual Championship trophies, Manuel Shutz took command of the stage and completely dominated the World Head to Head Competitions, winning 3 out of 6 events! If not for a tree limb in the way of his MTA boomerang he would have had a 4th title. Click MANU for some exciting rain drenched footage of Head to Head Fast Catch!
